About the Artist

My journey as an artist began unexpectedly in 2004 when I posted a few paintings on eBay and watched them sell with surprising success. Despite being told that art would lead to a dead-end career, I persisted, driven by a passion to prove otherwise. Over the years, I’ve expanded my skill set, selling artwork worldwide and experimenting across various mediums, from painting in acrylics, watercolors, and oils to drawing with pen and ink, graphite, and charcoal, as well as sculpting traditionally and digitally.

As I continued to grow, I noticed that people were particularly drawn to art with a functional purpose. Inspired by this, I began painting handbags and crafting fine art gemstone jewelry—pieces that could be worn and enjoyed daily. Functional art soon became a cornerstone of my business, allowing me to combine my fine art background with my graphic design expertise. In a world where wall and shelf space is limited, I found fulfillment in creating wearable art that lets people experience creativity in their everyday lives.

Living in the serene Sierra Nevada mountains, I draw constant inspiration from nature and my Arabian horses, which are central to my equestrian art. Raising these beautiful animals provides me with a firsthand connection to their grace and power, a connection I aim to convey in my equestrian pieces. Diagnosed with ADHD, I thrive on exploring new mediums and constantly moving between projects. This need for variety has enriched my art and kept my creativity dynamic and fresh.

Art comes easily to me, as does learning new things. But above all, I create not for myself, but for others to enjoy. Through my work, whether it’s a painting, a piece of jewelry, or a logo, I hope to bring beauty, function, and inspiration into the lives of those who encounter it.

In addition to art, I raise Arabian horses with my family, our website is AlSharikFarm.com and I invite you to take a look at the beautiful creatures who provide inspiration on a daily basis.
